The first 60 pages of Sting’s autobiography describe his ayahuasca experience!

CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA: Why is this? Of all the things Sting could have written about, why did he choose to chronicle a personal journey with an ancient psychoactive substance? The indigenous shamans of the Amazon have been using this sacred plant since antiquity, yet it’s only been recognized outside of the jungles for a mere 25 years. I have never found or met anyone who has achieved supreme enlightenment through the use of psychoactive substances. You still have to do the work. There is no shortcut to enlightenment.
