Taking a risk that this wont be posted or even read.. am hoping it wont be... but one has to live with hope.
Married 7 yrs to a much younger man who now thinks he can find someone better even though we have 3 children together.. where I am unemployed and no work history for over 7 yrs minus a one temp job for 6mths a year ago... I have no family, relatives or friends who can help me... presently I live in a large home with my children where we live off my husbands income. I have read your writings, listened to a teleseminar, and believe in much of what you say... yet am lost still. My question which I find no answer to is... what does a 40 yr old mother of 3 young children do if she is about to be homeless with no one to help? How can I turn this devastating situation into something positive? Is it possible? I don't want to mess my children up by trying to move into some shelter having to give up almost all we own and know...I am scared to death of shelters as I was once homeless back when I was 19..its no place for children.

covergirlbbw... Blessings to you.

I've walked in similar shoes, and I can promise you that there is a ton of help out there to be had.

There is certainly a positive here in your current situation. Once your worries subside, combined with some positive action ... you will see that.

Perhaps your local or state Ombudsman could help to direct you? If nothing else, get a lawyer. That would be step one.

Step into your beauty and intelligence ... you have the power and control, it's Your life.

I think you'll see the glory of walking your path. I have faith in you.

Blessings,
DesireƩ

Covergirlbbw, I am glad you are reaching out for support - we all need that! I am sending you a hug and, obviously, you are not alone... although you probably feel like that right now. In your words, I sense such a mixture of fear, hope and Love. I encourage you to focus on the hope and Love. I wholeheartedly agree with Desiree (sorry not sure how to get the accent over the last e in your name, D!) and am so grateful that she posted her comment to you. We cannot speak for James but he talks a lot about focusing on what you want rather than what you don't want. I hear you (understandably) focusing on what you don't want. Just because your husband "thinks he can find" whatever, does NOT mean you and your children are going to be homeless! We have all had our share of pain, whatever it is... and, while it is easy for outsiders to say, the truth remains that often out of what we think are the worst things, the best things come. Keep being grateful for what you do have and focusing on what you want. Take actions that you can take rather than worrying about what you cannot do. Sometimes, as they say, we look so long at the closed door that we miss the open doors in front of us. We are with you in Spirit. Love always, Jennifer

was hoping though you was going to answer the questions. Ended only being about 3 questions answered seemed more of a pitch than lots of content.. but enjoyed it anyway

James, As usual, you did a wonderful job and it is such a Blessing to listen to you. It was awesome how you covered so much before you even began answering specific questions. It was also great how the questions were able to be averaged so that when you were answering one question, you were actually answering the questions of many people! There are really no words to say thank you for the ways in which you help people. I am so grateful you are using your gifts for the Good of this world. Your humor, wisdom and candid manner are just some of the things that make you such an amazing teacher & person. I love you dearly. Jennifer
