Maybe you've heard me talk about the two different types of stress lately...

Well, since April is Stress Awareness month, it's the perfect time to examine the role stress plays for you so you can make necessary changes to be more productive, improve your health and enhance the overall quality of your life.

What you may not be aware of is that there are actually two different types of stress, one of which you can literally use to propel you to greater levels of growth and success than you've ever known before.

Yes James, eustress (the opposite of distress) is stress that is somewhat beneficial - but not too much; since your body cannot differentiate what stressors cause distress and what stressors cause eustress. In both cases your adrenal glands secrete adrenaline. According to Dr. Selye, too much adrenaline in your body is worse than being intoxicated.
