We just wrapped up our fiscal year at James Ray International, and I was looking back across our accomplishments from the past year... One of the ones that made me the proudest is how my team continuously gives back to the local community. They certainly understand the philosophy that charity begins at home. Check out what we've accomplished in the past year on a personal level: 2007 - In October, the JRI team and members of the San Diego-area JETs donated $2,230 to the Red Cross for Southern California fire victims.
- In November, the JRI team donated 92 pounds of food for families in North County San Diego, raised funds for the 6th Annual Run for the Hungry 10K, and volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club Thanksgiving Party.
- In December, JRI adopted 2 families' at South Bay Community Services for the Holidays and volunteered at the Reindeer Daze Holiday Party at the Boys and Girls Club.
2008 - In February, the JRI team and members of the San Diego-area JETs donated 1,042 books for children in San Diego school districts through a BooksFirst! Book Drive.
- In March, JRI team members volunteered at the Starlight Starbright Children’s Foundation and assisted in throwing a party for terminally ill children.
- In April, JRI held an in-office drive to collect food and toys for the North County Humane Society and donated a total of 80 books and 47 DVD/CDs to the Center for Spiritual Discovery in Vista, CA.
- In May, the JRI team and Creating Absolute Wealth participants donated $2,877.55 to the Boys and Girls Club in Carlsbad and $2,903.28 to South Bay Community Services.
- In June, the JRI team donated toys and games to the children at Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego.
- In July, the JRI team donated over $1,200 to Kiva.org to help support locate business owners in developing countries.
